Unfortunately we have a setback. I received e-mail from Meizu today regarding our Black Mini Player order: quote:
Currently, our production line is very busy, we’ll have to collect more English version orders to produce together, so lead time might be a little longer. Pls kindly understand. Anyway, we’ll try to hurry up.
I don't know exactly how this translates but I imagine this puts us back another two weeks (maybe longer). I am thinking it will be mid October before Black Mini Player arrives in the US.
Those of you sitting on the fence may want to pick up the White Mini Player which we have in stock.

How "white" is the white one? I've seen it listed as white in some places and silver in others. Quite frankly... I just don't want a bunch of chuckelhead sheep THINKING it's an iCrap.
If I end up liking it as much as I think I will, I might just get the black later and give the white one to my wife (if I were to actually order a white one)... but white electronics just look stupid. :(
My reading of Meizu's response looks like they don't have enough pre-orders for black. Doubtful, but that's how I read it... what do I know.
This is dissappointing news for sure...
... that said, how long would the wait be for a white one now? Is this something full in stock, such that it would ship right away?
I suppose I should check the forums for experiences with flashing to the mp3 firmware as well. I'm not converting my collection from scratch again... hehehe, whew, that would hurt.
