Black Mini Player Delay
September 9th 2006 - 6:44 AM CST

We received word today that the English version of the Black Mini Player has been delayed:

"Currently, our production line is very busy, we値l have to collect more English version orders to produce together, so lead time might be a little longer. Pls kindly understand. Anyway, we値l try to hurry up."

Sorry to bring the news but this probably puts into mid October before we can supply North American version of Black Mini Player.

Major Announcement regarding Sisvel / MP3
August 17th 2006: 07:32 CST

Several weeks ago Meizu informed us they do not have a license for MP3 (aka Sisvel) technology. This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed.  We have also been investigating obtaining the license ourselves but are still in the negotiation process.  To prevent our deliveries from being seized at customs we had Meizu make a special version of the firmware which does not support MP3 at all.
